Terms of Service

Last updated: September 29, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ILLUMA COM website, ecommerce platform and related services (together, the “Service”), provided by ILLUMA COM (“ILLUMA COM”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you can accept these Terms on its behalf.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your sign-in credentials and two-factor device secure, and for everything that happens under your account, including activity by team members you invite. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. The Service

The Service includes storefronts, product and inventory management, marketplace connections, order management, repricing, automation and related tools, plus setup and professional services we agree to in writing. What your account includes depends on your plan, as described on our Pricing and Features pages. Features marked “coming” or “soon” are not part of your plan until they are released. We may improve, change or retire features over time; if we remove something material from your plan, we’ll tell you in advance.

3. Plans, billing and cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, by card through Stripe. Enterprise plans can be invoiced net-30.
  • Annual plans get two months free. New subscriptions come with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • You can upgrade at any time and the change is prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and we don’t issue partial refunds after the money-back window.
  • Setup, onboarding and custom work are quoted and billed separately.
  • Prices don’t include taxes, which are added where required. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before a price change applies to your plan.

4. Payment processing

Payments your customers make through your store are processed by Stripe, at the rates on our Pricing page. By accepting payments through the Service you also agree to Stripe’s terms for connected accounts. Funds are paid out to your bank by Stripe on its payout schedule. You’re responsible for refunds, chargebacks and disputes on your sales.

5. Your store and your customers

You’re the seller of record for everything sold through your store and your connected marketplaces. You’re responsible for your products, prices, product information, shipping, returns and customer service policies, sales tax settings, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business and with each marketplace’s rules. Your customers buy from you, not from ILLUMA COM, and your store’s own policies govern those purchases.

6. Your data

You own the data you bring to or create in the Service, including your catalog, customer and order data. You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the marketplaces and services you connect. You can export your product catalog and download order, customer and other lists as CSV files from the dashboard. For anything beyond that, contact us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to break the law or anyone’s rights; to sell prohibited, counterfeit or unsafe products; to send spam; to upload malware; to probe, overload or break into the Service or other accounts; to scrape it without permission; or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend accounts that put the Service, other merchants or shoppers at risk, and we’ll tell you why when we can.

8. Third-party services

The Service connects to services we don’t control, such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Google, Stripe, ShipStation and QuickBooks. Your use of each is governed by its own terms, and you’re responsible for your accounts with them. If a third party changes or restricts its service or API, the related features may change or stop working, and we’re not responsible for their actions.

9. Intellectual property and feedback

We own the Service, including its software, design and content, other than your data. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T PROMISE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You’ll defend and indemnify ILLUMA COM against third-party claims arising from your products, your store, your content, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, don’t pay, or put the Service or others at risk. Before or after your account closes, contact us if you need a copy of your data or want it deleted.

14. Disputes

If a dispute comes up, contact us first and we’ll try to resolve it in good faith within 30 days. If we can’t, it will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court or seek an injunction to protect intellectual property. Claims are brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding allowed under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date and email merchants about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
