Price Verification & Health

How Apex confirms every price actually lands on Amazon, what Diverged and Parked mean, and what to do.

Amazon accepting a price update is not the same as the price being live. Listings can be blocked by brand approvals, image policy, or Amazon’s own price-error guardrails — or have their price overwritten by another connected tool — all while updates keep returning “accepted.” Apex treats the price buyers actually see as the only truth, and verifies every submission against it.

How verification works

After every price change, Apex reads the live offer back and compares it to what it submitted:

  • Verified — the live price matches. Done.
  • Diverged — the live price differs. Apex automatically re-submits through a second pricing pathway, in multiple rounds, until it lands.
  • Parked — the retry rounds are exhausted and the price still isn’t applying. Apex stops burning attempts, raises an alert, and records Amazon’s own stated reason for the listing — visible on the Status page.
  • Out of stock / inactive — the listing isn’t buyable right now, so there is no live price to verify. Verification resumes automatically when it’s active again.

Parked SKUs also re-check themselves every few hours: if the underlying issue clears — an approval granted, a suppression lifted — the SKU heals and returns to normal repricing without you touching anything.

The floor sweep

Independently of individual submissions, Apex continuously compares live prices against your current floors. If a live price sits below floor — a stale legacy listing, an outside overwrite, a cost increase — it’s pushed back up automatically. This is the standing guarantee behind “never below your floor”: enforced at decision time, and watched on the live listing after.

When a SKU parks — what the reasons mean

Amazon’s reason What to do
Brand approval required Apply for the brand in Seller Central, or delist the SKU.
Image / content policy Fix the flagged content in Seller Central; the SKU heals automatically once Amazon accepts it.
Potential pricing error Amazon’s guardrail wants a human confirmation — review the price in Seller Central → Pricing Health.
No listing issues — price being overwritten outside Another system connected to your Amazon account is also writing prices. Check Seller Central → Apps & Services and disconnect legacy repricers or old store integrations.

⚠️ Warning: two tools writing prices to the same Amazon account will fight each other indefinitely — each “correcting” the other’s prices. If you’re migrating from another repricer or an old store integration, disconnect its Amazon access once ILLUMA is live.

Alerts

Parked SKUs and confirmed divergences raise in-app notifications — you hear about the cases that need a human, and only those. Everything else is visible any time on the Repricer Status page.
