Account Setup

Update your profile, set up two-factor authentication, and invite your team.

A few minutes of setup now keeps your account secure and your team productive.

Your profile

  1. Open your profile: click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Profile & password.
  2. Update your details: on the Profile Settings page, edit your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address, then click Save Changes.
  3. Change your password (optional): under Change Password, enter your current password and a new one, then click Update Password. A new password needs at least 12 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication is required to use the dashboard. The first time you sign in without it, you land on a setup screen and can’t continue until you finish. It takes about a minute.

  1. Get an authenticator app if you don’t have one. Google Authenticator, Authy, and 1Password all work.
  2. Confirm your password: on Step 1 of 2, enter your password and click Continue.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. If you can’t scan it, open Can’t scan? Enter this code manually and type the code into the app.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code: type the code your app shows and click Enable & Continue.
  5. Finish: when you see You’re all set, click Go to Dashboard.

From then on, you enter a code from your authenticator app each time you sign in.

⚠️ Warning: The setup screen doesn’t give you recovery codes. If you lose your phone or your authenticator app, you can’t sign in until ILLUMA support resets your 2FA and you enroll again. Contact support if that happens.

Owners and admins add teammates under Settings → Team, choosing an access level and a role for each person. See Team & Roles.

With your account secured, build your catalog → Products.
