Offer. One SKU on one Amazon channel. Apex prices offers, not products; a product sold FBA and merchant-fulfilled has two offers.
ASIN. Amazon’s product identifier. All sellers of the same item share it; your offer competes with the other offers on the ASIN.
Buy Box (featured offer). The offer Amazon shows in the main buy button. Price, fulfillment, seller rating and stock all weigh in.
FBA, FBM. Fulfilled by Amazon, where Amazon ships from its warehouse and charges a fulfillment fee; fulfilled by merchant, where you ship and your Shipping Matrix sets the shipping cost.
Floor. The lowest price Apex will set for an offer: cost plus shipping plus fees, with the floor margin, raised by MAP when enforced, replaced by a hand-set Min price.
Ceiling. The highest price Apex will set: the same arithmetic with the ceiling margin, replaced by a hand-set Max price. Follow the market can price above it when the market is there.
Margin. A share of the sale price, after cost, shipping and Amazon’s fees. Floor margin 10 means 10% of the sale price is left after those.
Cost source. Whose cost the floor uses: yours, or the drop-ship vendor’s when the vendor would ship the order.
MAP. Minimum advertised price. With the strategy’s MAP switch on, the floor is never under it.
Min price, Max price. Hand-set bounds on the product’s Amazon card. A Min price is never waived.
Strategy. The rules an offer is priced by: engine, margins, filters, edge-case choices.
Engine. Rule-based (beat or match a target) or Algorithmic Buy-Box (chase, climb, harvest).
Unwinnable. The market sits under your floor; no legal price wins the Buy Box. The strategy holds, harvests or descends.
Follow the market. The ceiling mode that prices against the market when it sits above your ceiling, given at least two other sellers.
Cooldown. The minimum time between two price changes on one offer.
Max single-move. The cap on how far one change can move from the current price. Floor corrections are exempt.
Decision. One run of the pricing sequence for one offer: previous price, desired price, floor, margin, reason.
Verified. The live price Amazon shows matches the price Apex sent.
Diverged. The live price differs; Apex is re-sending.
Parked. Re-sending did not land; the listing waits for a re-read, with Amazon’s stated reason.
Not buyable. Amazon shows the listing out of stock or inactive, so there is no live price to verify.
Stuck price. A price Amazon keeps showing that Apex did not send. A notice goes to your team after the stuck wait.
Floor sweep. The standing check that raises any live price found under its current floor.
First price. The price a new listing goes up with, chosen against Amazon’s market and capped above it.
Business price. The price Amazon Business buyers see for one unit.
Quantity tier. A business price for a quantity and above, fixed or a percent off the business base.
Audit business tiers. The read-only check that lists business prices and tiers under your floor.
Shipping Matrix. Weight bands with a shipping cost each, used for merchant-fulfilled floors.
Fee estimate. Amazon’s referral and fulfillment fee numbers for an offer, refreshed automatically.
