Apex Repricer → Settings lists the values the repricer uses for each Amazon channel: how long it waits before telling you about a stuck price, how long a new listing may take, how often parked listings are re-read, and how far a first price may sit above the market. Every value shows the number in use, its default, and what it does. Blank means the default.
Nothing here changes what a strategy decides. These are the loop’s own timings and limits.
How the page works
- One card per Amazon channel. Each row is a setting with a value box (the default shows in grey), the value in use (Default: n or Set: n), and a plain explanation with the allowed range.
- Save sends every value on the card together. A blank box stores nothing, so the default applies. Use default clears a box.
- A value outside its range is refused with a message naming the setting; nothing is saved in that case.
- A saved change is picked up within a minute.
- Viewing needs repricing view rights; saving needs repricing edit rights.
The settings
| Setting | What it does | Default | Allowed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stuck price: tell me after | How long Amazon must keep showing a price the repricer did not send before you are told | 6 hours | 2 to 168 hours |
| Stuck under the floor: tell me after | The same wait when the stuck price is under your floor | 2 hours | 2 to 168 hours |
| Stuck price: at most one notice per | At most one stuck-price notice per listing in this many hours | 24 hours | 1 to 720 hours |
| Stuck price: readings count as one period within | Two readings further apart than this do not count as one stuck period. Never shorter than the parked re-read wait | 12 hours | 1 to 720 hours |
| New listing: wait for Amazon up to | How long a brand-new listing’s first price waits for Amazon to build the listing before it counts as a failure | 30 minutes | 1 to 240 minutes |
| New listing: retry every | How often the first price is retried during that wait | 2 minutes | 1 to 60 minutes |
| Parked listing: re-read every | How long a parked listing (price not applying) waits before it is re-read | 4 hours | 1 to 168 hours |
| Fee by ASIN: for listings first seen within | A listing first seen without a fee estimate within this many days may get its fee looked up by ASIN | 14 days | 1 to 30 days |
| Market read reused for | How long one read of Amazon’s prices for an item is reused when setting first prices | 15 minutes | 1 to 1440 minutes |
| Follow the market: needs at least | How many other sellers must be listed before a strategy set to follow the market follows them | 2 sellers | 2 to 20 |
| First price: max % above Amazon’s price | How far above Amazon’s price a first price may sit; a strategy’s own value overrides this | 25% | 1 to 500 |
The two stuck waits cannot go under 2 hours because a price Amazon has accepted can take about 100 minutes to show; a shorter wait would call an applying price stuck. If the parked re-read wait is set longer than the stuck-period gap, the gap is raised to match, and the page says so when you try to save the pair the other way round.
When to change something
| You want | Change |
|---|---|
| Earlier warning when Amazon holds a price you did not set | Lower Stuck price: tell me after (not under 2) |
| Fewer repeat notices on the same listing | Raise Stuck price: at most one notice per |
| A slow marketplace that builds listings in an hour | Raise New listing: wait for Amazon up to |
| Parked listings checked more often after a brand approval | Lower Parked listing: re-read every |
| First prices to track a fast-moving market more closely | Lower Market read reused for |
| Follow the market only in deep markets | Raise Follow the market: needs at least |
| Tighter protection against pricing-error flags on new listings | Lower First price: max % above Amazon’s price (or set it per strategy) |
Per-strategy settings
Four things live on each strategy, not here: the first price cap for that strategy, the sellers it ignores, what it does above the ceiling, and what it does when the Buy Box cannot be won. The Settings page lists your strategies as links. See Pricing Strategies.
Audit business tiers
The button on each channel card starts a read-only check of your Amazon Business prices and quantity tiers against your floors. See Business (B2B) Pricing.
