These panels set site-wide defaults for hero and CTA blocks, so every hero looks consistent without configuring each one. Individual blocks can still override these — see Per-block overrides.
Hero Blocks
Under Settings → Theme → Hero Blocks:
- Light Mode Colors / Dark Mode Colors — the default Background, Text, Subtext, Overlay color + opacity, and the fixed Text/Subtext On Image colors (used when a hero has a background image or video, so text stays legible).
- Defaults — Badge Style (Pill / Rounded / Square), Default Height (Small → Full Screen), Default Text Align.
These feed a hero block when the block itself doesn’t specify a value — the resolution order is block setting → this theme default → built-in default.
CTA Blocks
Under Settings → Theme → CTA Blocks:
- Gradient — the background gradient for Call to Action blocks (defaults to Primary → Accent).
- Text On Gradient / Muted Text On Gradient — text colors over that gradient.
- Hover Shadow (Light & Dark).
Hero Form Card
For the form-column hero, under Hero Form Card: Card Background, text colors, border, submit-button gradient, and error/success colors — with a Dark Mode override for the card background.
Overlay scrims
Under Lightbox / Overlay Scrims: the backdrop tints for the gallery lightbox and modals — Scrim, Scrim Strong, Scrim Soft.
